Every ten-step routine promised that if I was just disciplined enough, just consistent enough, my skin would finally cooperate. What nobody tells you is that the chaos of a cluttered skincare shelf mirrors the chaos of an unclear mind. When you simplify the ritual, you simplify something deeper.

What the Ritual Actually Looks Like
It starts before I touch anything. Five minutes of stillness. No phone, no news, no list of what I haven't done yet. Just the light coming in and the specific quiet of early morning. The ritual matters more than the products in it.
The morning ritual is, in its best form, a small declaration. That you matter enough to show up for. That your face, your day, your life is worth those fifteen minutes of unhurried attention. That you are not in a hurry to be someone else.
